Hi guys, i've searched everywhere online to find the answer for this;

I reformatted/reinstalled windows 7 on my desktop today, knowing i'd have to reinstall all drivers, i have the discs ready, installed my asus motherboard and went to install my amd raedon 6670 graphics card but the disc wouldnt work too well, when it did work it installed the driver but after reboot just gave me a black screen. after uninstalling in safe mode, i went to the website and installed it directly off there, which in the end, still had the same outcome. I've tried going into my bios to look for my graphics card and my integrated one, but i have no idea what i'm looking at, and i don't have any 'pci' options as far as i'm aware.

If anyone could help at all it would be great, i can still run the pc with vga graphics, but i'm using it as a gaming computer, so its pretty much useless.

cheers guys

After you reformatted, did you go to Windows Update and Manually install all the 'optional' and 'suggested' updates? Some people forget to do this , relying on 'automatically install'. The newer AMD drivers depend on the latest version of netframework which is not installed 'automatically'...you have to manually choose it.
