Thank You,

Glad its sorted out. There is nothing unusal/funny about it fixing your 'problem', its a very common question asked here. I hope you read the whole article. This is a Microsoft issue, not a graphics card issue. The answers to a lot of the posts in this forum are what is known as "FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS" and the answers are right there in the FAQ section...but it seems nobody takes the time to read it.

I have the same problem with him, But in my situation I'am getting BSOD and also the "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered upon checking the mini dump files, The error which I'am getting is the atikmdag.sys. And upon looking at bluescreenviewer, atikmdag.sys is the problem. ATI kernel mode driver. I get the BSOD while playing games like COD Ghost, BF4 and skyrim. Using the latest beta drivers from AMD 14.3 and also the official one which is the one I'am using right now, 13.12.

I also tried following your instruction but it did not sort things out, I'am still getting the BSOD with the same error.

Please help! thanks in advance

My Specs:

PROCS: Intel core i3 2100 @ 3.1ghz
RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws 2 x 4GB 1866 DDR3
MOBO: Asrock Z68 Fatal1ty Professional GEN3
PSU: Corsair CS650M 80+ Gold
GPU: Powercolor R9 270x Devil
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Your issue is not the same. You need to start a new thread with this information.
