Hello, new to the AMD forums. I've been playing Battlefield 4 since December 2013. I was running a Sapphire HD 6870 1GB until I bought a Sapphire AMD R9-270X 2GB over-clock edition GPU. Ever since I bought this card, my Battlefield 4 crashes from time to time and I get this error message:
"DirextX function "GetDeviceRemovedReasons" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DDICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed. "). GPU: "AMD Radeon R9 200 Series" , Driver 14.3 (13..35.1005-140312a - 169198E)"
My Hardware specs are as follows:
Sapphire AMD Dual-X R9 270X 2GB Over-clocked edition
Intel Core i5 2500K Processor 3.30 GHZ,
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler,
Asus P8Z68-V LE Motherboard,
16GB PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory,
1TB 7200RPM Hard Disk - 6Gbps,
EZCool Basic 650W PSU,
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
So what do you guys think? I'm not running the Games Graphics API on Mantle, because it jutters, freezes and slows my game down. I'm running on Direct X 11 in-game.
My Beta driver is 14.4. This game is solely a games machine, nothing else on it.
Thank you all for your help.
