I recently bought and had delivered a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x OC 4GB GPU, but after installation i'm having an instance and very reocurring issue of it crashing, i've tried using 13.12 shipped with it and 14.4 drivers and none have fixed the issue, i've tried over clocking it, under clocking it and leaving it at stock clocks which is 1.3 Ghz for the mem clock, and GPU clock is 1 GHz. I've kept track of my temps and they aren't going over 60'C on both my CPU & GPU, my old GPU HD7970 GE didn't have this issue so it's a problem with the R9 290, the logs show nothing for me work off in terms of errors so i'm stuck at a choice of what to do since it crashes sometimes after 1 hour, and others it can take a few hours if i send it back to retailer they'll just say it worked fine, because it can make it past any tests/Benchmarks they can try to run.

Can anyone share any information on this? I'm not blackscreening like most people it just freezes and sends a buzzing sound out my speakers for 2 seconds before restarting. Using windows 8.1 with all updates installed, 16GB RAM @!333 MHz, my CPU is an 8350 @ 4.0 Ghz(Tried over clocking that too) and a 2TB HDD. MY PSU is a Corsair CX750M

I can confirm that this crashing issue is a problem related to Catalyst 14.4 and lower, i have used 14.6 and put my rig through it's paces and no crash as of yet, but upon instant installation of 14.4 and a couple of hours playing something - A crash occured. So it's consistent to 14.4 but not to 14.6, my GPU is in the bio if anybody at this support even remotely needs it since looking at how it's 1 month old and no reply tells me nobody cares that their product isn't working. And i'm now using Windows 7 too and the problem persisted so it wasn't a Win8 related issue.

Wrong assumption. You are posting in a user-to-user gaming forum. no engineers here...as stated in the 'about' sectin. If you want to contact AMD support, use the 'issue report form'...a sticky is provided or use the link on the driver download page.
