2x Saphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC


AMD Catalyst Driver Version
14.10.1006-140417a-171099C


Operating System
Windows 7x64 ultimate SP1


Issue Details
Ive installed the Cards and cant get Crossfire to work regardless of the order in which i install the cards.

The cards are detected by windows and when i connect my display to both of them, they work but catalyst allways shows one of my cards under "disabled Adapters" and i cant get XF to work ..


Motherboard

Asus M4n75TD

Power Supply

Leadex Superflower Platinum 1200 Watt


Display Device(s) and Connection(s) Used

Dell 2330MX over DVI



CPU Details
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black edition 6x3.2GHz



Additional Details

Allready tried to uninstall the driver trice, also with DDU.

Tried swapping the cards around.

Looked for BIOS settings that could be related to the problem.

Umm..Bad news,according to ASUS website,your motherboard ONLY supports SLI,NOT Crossfire.

You need a New motherboard.

The good news is that now you can get a good motherboard that will.

I have the 1st rev of the ASUS sabertooth 990FX and highly recommend it.

And OC that 1090T.I believe that when I had mine i had it at 3.9Ghz with just the multiplier at 21.
