I recently bought a R9 290 and have had some display corruption issues when playing games or on Windows' Aero features. I'm not overclocking the card, it's settings are exactly as out of the box, and I am using Display Driver 14.4. I have attempted to use 14.6 Beta drivers however they did not fix the issue. Any suggestions?

My apologies for providing insufficient information.

I'm using a DVI-D Cable, I've tried swapping it out and that hasn't fixed the issue. I am not overclocking any part of my system, all parts are as they come out of the box. My specs are as follows:

Video Card: XFX Double Dissipation R9 290

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 MB

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition

Power Supply: Ultra X4 1050W

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600 Patriot Viper Xtreme

SSD: Kingston 250GB

I keep getting small white lines on my screen when I play games and the top of frames on Windows often draw incompletely multiple times above where the actual window is. My GPU Temperature is on average 40C at idle and never comes up about 65C when playing games. I've tried either port on my R9 290 for my DVI Cable but nothing has fixed my problems.

Don't worry about it.

You have already been reported to a moderator.

(i'm just kidding mate )

What exact corruption are you seeing ? Pixelation, horizontal or vertical or colored lines ?

Can you clean install the 13.12 whql driver please and see if it's the same ?

Also, can you monitor your cpu and gpu temps with msi afterburner in-game with each driver used ?

Try raising the power limit and fan speed in ccc as well.

Test a little and post back.

Thanks.
