Good choice, Corsair, Seasonic, and a few other brands are most definitely top notch especially with their newer models ^_^ My PSU is now over 2 years old & still had the guts to run 4 R9 290Xs (which went over it's 1200W supposed-limit several times on draw) without a single issue.  That' 1500i you got will serve you well

i do not think you will need a second card, I use a GTX 660 Ti and games are still playable up to this month

last game was warface
