So my problem is i cannot run games that use DX11.

Various errors which state my card doesn't support the Direct X.

My card is the XFX AMD R9 280 DD running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with

14.4 drivers, now tried 14.7 beta drivers, Tried updating Direct X again.

What should i do? My card is stated to support Direct X 11.2 which is only available to Windows 8.

For example games that do not run:

Sniper Elite 2 and 3

Company of Heroes 2

Sleeping Dogs

I've noticed games keep detecting it as a HD 7900 Series card.

Should i be worried about something here?

Tried Furmark and it says my card is a 7950?!

the R9 280 is a rebranded 7950 that can support DX 11.2

Hmm, Should i perhaps try to use the HD 7950 drivers or go with a clean windows 7 install?

Edit: Tried HD 7950 drivers no help.Installed Windows 7, Now games with Direct X 11 seem to work.
