Using an HD6570 w/1GB. Upgraded monitor to a Dell U2713, which supports 2560x1440 on DVI. Card does too (supposedly). But while the scaling is fine, the picture is almost totally red, with snow like in an old TV picture. The color goes way off when it boots into Windows 7 and the Catalyst 14 driver takes over (latest driver). VGA and HDMI work fine, as does DVI on 1920x1080 (NOT 1920x1200--all red with snow again). Swapped cables, even had the actual monitor replaced--same red tinged screen. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be the monitor timing?

Is this you monitor? http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=au&cs=audhs1&l=en&redirect=1&s=dhs&sku=210-40773

If I'm understanding Dell's information correct you can only get a resolution of 2560x1440 with either DVI or DisplayPort. Though these cables have to be:

  • DisplayPort 1.2
    • Max resolution: 3840x2400
Or
  • Dual-link DVI with HDCP
    • Max resolution: 2560x1600 with class WQXGA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface)
Hope this will help you out
