Good afternoon guys.

I Have some problems with my Sapphire R9 280x 3GB 384 bits.

When I play some games (Battlefield 4, Metro Last Light, The Witcher 2) after some minutes my PC freezes and in the screen shows several vertical lines (sometimes green, sometimes pink, sometimes brown), and I don't know what to do.

My PC:

Phenom II X4 960T Black Edition 3.0GHZ

8GB 1600MHz AMD

Seagate 3TB

Gigabyte 78lmt-s2p

Corsair 750Watts

Sapphire R9 280x 3GB 384bits;

Please help me, I don't know what do do anymore.

typical R9 280X flickering issue... sadly, this is happening with a lot.

Check this thread: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=440&threadid=168806&enterthread=y

Why isn't AMD answering for this?

if one game does not work, try another one....

I have/had the same graphiccard. Not with this problem but with BSODs in Windows all the time.

I hope i get my money back because i want a GTX now too, because i have no fun anymore in having BSODs.

AMD is a BSOD generator. Thats sucks.

AMD is a BSOD generator.... Really, I haven't had a BSOD for over a year now.

Anyhow the 280X dose have problems, with mine it's really really sencitive to temp with my old 5850's they had no problem running at 80c but with this card anything over 65c and it starts to flicker or just locks up. Now I fixed the problem by running a costum fan profile to keep it around 61c but now it sounds like a vacume cleaner when gamming.

I'm wondering why I'm not seeing the same amount of poeple having the same problems with the 7970? Or are they?
