I am currently using a Radeon HD 6850 graphics card.
I have recently purchased a 144hz monitor, and I have several questions that I cannot seem to find the answer to.

1. Does this graphics card support 144hz at 1920x1080?
I cannot seem to find the option to change it to 144hz, and it will only allow me to go up to 75 hz at 1280x1024.

2. I am using a second monitor that only supports VGA connections, and I am using the DVI-VGA converter that was provided with the video card. However, the second DVI port will not work with the converter. Is this the reason why my 144hz monitor (currently connected to the second port) not run 144hz in the second port? Does the 144hz monitor have to be in the first port which allows for the DVI-VGA converter to be able to run 144hz?

3. Slightly unrelated to the video card, is it possible for me to connect my 144hz monitor into the first port (and run 144hz) while connecting my second monitor (VGA only) into the motherboard video card and still run both monitors?

I am currently running Windows 7 Home premium (64bit) Service Pack 1.
If there are any other required information about my system, please post.
Thank you to all who took their time to read and help me with this problem.
