Since the forums are going through a change, I would like to make a suggestion/observation. AMD has information scattered all over the place. None but the most diligent will ever find half of it. Here is one example:

When a person is looking for a support forum, here is what he gets:

AMD FORUMS

Well, what about these forums?

http://forums.amd.com/forum/categories.cfm?catid=33&zb=3478506

http://forums.amd.com/forum/categories.cfm?catid=310&zb=2556093

or blogs: http://blogs.amd.com/play/tag/ati-catalyst/

How easy is it to find the Customer Care E-mail Submission form ? http://emailcustomercare.amd.com/

The AMD Support Articles RSS are hidden in plain sight: http://feeds.amd.com/amdkbarticles

This is but a few examples. There is some good information out there for the few who have the time and patience to find it...but why make it so hard? Most links to AMD company supplied information is found through other sites (Tom's Hardware, Guru 3D, Overclockers, etc)....no mention or links through AMD's main site? There really should be some organization of the available resources.

Stepping down from soapbox now.

As Hardwood says, there is no way to post a new subject here...could this be fixed?

i would like to point out the obvious (again)...The "Please Read Before Posting" thing is still not being used by the minority of posters.... When they do post the information, 9 times out of 10 the leave out the power supply make and model....and we all agree on the importance of that.  If the sticky is going to remain as is, can the main things needed be highlighted in some way? Namely:

Processor

Graphics card

Memory

Power Supply (make and model)

Operating system

**and for God's sake add "is this a laptop or is this a desktop". I am tired of looking up model numbers.

How do i reach a thread posted before 2012-08-01?

Why can't i create a thread in AMD Game » Forum News & Feedback?

Why is forums.amd.com not in the Google index?

Why can't I write a post in source mode?

Why do you use ColdFusion?

In what position 1–∞ do you rank this forum software among all forum software?

Thanks!

Able to make a new post now....thanks. I am counting the new posts to see how many ps are listed..ha ha. Could you not at least move the request for ps information up to the top of the page? Got it listed down at the bottom with all the other useless crap.

Seeing as the forum looks to be heading in a more professional direction. Can the Moderators list & add links to some of the GPU Articles in the How-To & FAQs.As "stumped" said " why make it so hard".
