Reporting a post can result in an automatic reply, like "I'm out of the office and can't read your email, blablabla...". I can see how it's a good thing within the company, but as a simple forum user, I don't really care who work and who don't at any given time. There are other moderators who get the message anyway.

Also I wonder why reports are delivered to moderators as emails. Is that a fusetalk related thing? Aren't they supposed to get them through the forum interface?

getting the messages via email allows us to be made aware of any issues even if we arent on the forum at the time. as you say they also get delivered into our pm box here.

If that is the case, I wonder why the sender address of these emails is our email address, and not a global forum address. The message itself could contain the identity of the sender.

Why would this be good? Because delivery failure notices, out of office notices and stuff like that would be autoreplied back to that central address, which could possibly delete or store them, whatever AMD wants.

One thing is certain, I'm sure I'm not the only one, who thinks that if 47 moderators out of 60 (random numbers) get the report, I don't need 13 failure messages for any reason, because one successful delivery is enough for the message to be read and sorted out. No other forum software I've encountered does stupid things like this.

Actually what needs to happen is the "Report this to a moderator" needs to be changed to "Report this thread to a moderator" so it can still go to their email addresses and make it a one click deal
