I would have to disagree. If someone makes a thread called "HELP ME!!!" and says "I have a problem of games crashing. HELP ME PLEASE!" with no information, and someone replies with a link to the sticky, or posts links to posts on this, or other, forums about the same problem if they do post a problem with information, that's not rude, no different than copying and pasting those link landings.

Yeah I don't like it either.  If you've got the time to dig up a link and post it, then you've got time to say something about why you're posting it.

I think it's ironic to hear Herr Eydee even use the word 'rude'. And as far as he wanting to "PUNISH" any offender I wonder if placing a ' RUDEN' next to their name would suffice? Maybe put 'RUDEN' in some type of star would look better...hmmm

Many years ago I was part of a forum where troublesome members got the title of "Sheep Packer".  It worked surprisingly well.

Anyway... I wouldn't call the link only posts a huge deal... just something that I'd personally like to see avoided.

Nope... it was in decline by the time AMD launched the processor support forum, and went away altogether a year or two later.  It was a cool place though, for a while.

I will forbid and punish any @AMD users that post a link without any additional comments or text to explain the link.

I agree with Mime.  Ideally, a little blurb about the link goes a long way to be just that more helpful.  However, a link is better than nothing and the intent to help is still there.  I do not necessarily consider it rude.

Agreed. However.... Posting a list of search engines, that is unabashadly rude.

Anyway we can set up the sheep packer thing? lol, I have a few people in mind for a trial period. hahaha
