ive never been a fan of AMD, but i took a chance and bought AMD's new 6600K richland brand apu in comination with a sapphire hd 7750 and my gaming performance is beyond anything i expected, AMD has this new thing called hybrid crossfire which ive never heard of  and its where the onboard gpu works with the physical GPU to boost performance, i built my rig on a budget of $500 and i can max out nearly every game and i get an astounding 60 fps and higher, i just wanted to share this info for anyone thinking about buying there new APU's that your making a great purchase and any game can appreciate the performance AMD gives us!!

Well they are and they aren't. For consoles and handhelds, yes an APU is perfect as the development kits show the developers what they can and cannot do. For PCs, no they're not because of the increased resolutions and discrete cards of much higher power, as well as the details they can add to PC versions.
