Hi there,
I'm experiencing some issues with my HD4870X2: after a system crash while playing a game I'm not able to run games in full screen mode.
After a clean Windows 7 64 bit install and a CCC clean install the problem still making me getting mad.
The Italian AMD customer support just told me to do the same thing that I've tried for a week. (i.e.: clean windows install, clean driver install after a driver sweep run etc)
The strange thing is that every game booted in full screen will crash at the main menu with a static image, but after a ctrl+alt+canc i can hear the game running :\
If i launch ArmA 2 in window mode and i can run it in a window large as my 24" monitor with very high graphic settings. Same with Left4dead2 via steam.
unfortunately lot of games on steam wont start in window mode with the "-window/-windowed" commands
At least, sometimes if I don't reboot the system, I'll get those messages.

(excluding a vga change as planned after october)

CCC Tested: 12.6 beta for HD4xxx family and 12.4

mobo: MSI P7N Diamond
soundcard: Asus Xonar D2X
psu: Coolermaster modular 850w
6 120mm case coolermaster fans
2 7200rpm hdds (1TB+500GB)
1 DVD optical drive
display model: SAMSUNG T240 (24" 16:10 1920x1200)
All drivers and mobo bios are updated at their last version
never overclocked a single component
