Issue Details
Uninstalled catalyst 12.7b, installed 12.8 and got very bad stuttering while playing GTA IV EFLC rendering it unplayable. I've switched back and forth between 12.7b and 12.8 and I have confirmed the issue does not exist when using 12.7b and is occuring in 12.8.

My OC utility does not work in Windows 8 but I can guarentee you it is stable. If you really need further details I can go into my BIOS and get my settings but I really don't want to as I'm sure this is not the issue.

Tried lowering settings, no matter how low I go in 12.8 the stutter is still there. Thank you for your help!!!!!

How big is the gun held to your head forcing you to use 12.8? If 12.7b works great for you, then use 12.7b, simple as that.

12.8 fixes some issues like Eve crashing when minimizing or alt-tabbing also BF3 won't let me play unless I update or mess with the registry but then catalyst won't even know what version I'm running. There's a handful of improvements I'd like, but overall I want to find out what the problem is.
