I've been fighting with this thing for to long alone.. its starting to get annoying.

I've notice that with the new 12.8 patch my FPS started dropping drastically. Settings at Ultra with DX11 and highres textures in Crysis 2 what i used to get around 40-50fps at least with smooth eyefinity across 5760x1080 res is now 5-12fps. So i reinstalled windows 7 ultimate with all updates and nothing else installed but normal drivers and 12.8 CCC and Crysis 2, and i still am getting 5-10fps.. On a single screen i only get around 20fps. I drop down the settings to medium and low and I can’t get anything,”Crysis, Battlefield 3, etc” over medium settings to go over 20fps. I’m even getting lower fps in simple games like starcraft 2 and guildwars 2. I've also noticed video starting to chop a bit at random times..

Is there anything I can provide to help figure out why I’m losing performance? Let me know what and where and I’ll supply it.

System:

Asus Sabertooth 990fx

FX-8150

16GB DDR3 9-9-9-24 1600mhz

Crossfire Gigabyte 6870’s GV-R687OC-1GB - 3x 1920x1080 monitors

3x raid0 SSD’s “Corsair Force 3"

700watt PSU + 600watt for GPU's only.

TWO PSU's? This can't be optimal.

Is crossfire actually working? Afterburner's graphs might show some clues.
Did you install the latest CAP?
