Every time I try to play Planetside 2 after the update on 10/18/12, the game crashes during the first frame of game play. The game ran fine beofe the update!

I'll select my character from the character menue, then the game will switch to a loading screen where it will load fine to 100%. Afterwards, the game starts up, and on the very first frame, the game freezes. After 30 seconds or so, either the screen will turn black and I won't be able to even pull up talk manager (and will have to restart), or it will crash to windows desktop.

If it crashes to desktop, I get a message from windows that the video dirvers stopped working.

I have tried to uninstall the video drivers and install the beta version of video drivers. Same problem.

I uninstalled the beta drivers, and reverted back to the stable version. Same problem.

I have uninstalled, and then reinstalled the game. Same problem.

I have tried to play the game on my intel computer, everything runs fine.

Here is my dxdiag report from the computer that isn't running the game:

...also, please remember that this game is still in beta release form.  You should expect to see issues pop up and sometimes to occur frequently.....thus the title beta release.

In any event, I understand your frustration and I hope that Pine's link corrects your issue.

Cheers!
