I recently bought a new video card, ati 7850, all games are fine, but when you play skyrim texture torn twinkle like black squares on the screen, this is where you go and then not always, in what could be the problem? Is a problem only with the sky. 

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Driver-12.10.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad  CPU   Q9300  @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz

Memory: 6144MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 6144MB RAM

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Current Mode: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (60Hz)

BIOS: BIOS Date: 10/14/10 11:53:59 Ver: 08.00.14

Have you try another driver ?

i use the 12.8 and skyrim work just fine.

Glad it fix your problem.

I never really pay attention to fps gain/lost when i update the driver.  Event though there's a benchmark showing the difference of fps between drivers, the difference is very minimal so you don't have to worry about it.  

I only update my driver if a game show some texture bug or crash.
