Under Windows 8 Photoshop CS6 is very unsatable. Adobe is aware of this and of course blames ATI rather than its usual bug ridden code base. The desktop color is unstable and some tools, particularly the crop tool, are nearly unusable because the image turns black when the crop grid is applied. Change the settings for the graphic card, even turning off the advanced settings, makes no difference. I doubt there is a solution as there are reproducible bugs in every version of Photoshop that never seem to get fixed. ATI does not respond and the latest drivers do not correct the problem. I wonder if Adobe has bought stock in NVidia . . . just saying.
