Really starting to regret buying ATI>Nvidia.

Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear is completely unable to run in Windows 7/Vista with any model ATI radeon card. The game will install properly, and open the intro cinematics then crashing to desktop before the main menu. Nvidia users have always been able to play this game, with any of the models of cards in their catalog. I've searched high and low for literally month(s) for a patch or fix for this and found nothing.

For a game so old, why would Nvidia cards work fine, but ATI cause crashing to desktop on startup?
