I'm having an issue with Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed III, and Hitman: Absolution freezing at certain points in the games. I'm not sure that they're necessarily caused by my video card, but I wanted to run it by anyone here in the case that it was.

The specific issues are: During Far Cry 3, when the quick time event with Grant occurs, my game always freezes, and I'm unable to end the process. In Assassin's Creed, when you find the tomb and slide down the first slope, the game freezes and I'm unable to end the process. Finally, with Hitman: Absolution, it's when I use the fiber wire on anyone the game freezes and I'm unable to end the process.

My specs:

Who knows, DxDiag is useless, there's a big STICKY thread which tells you what we need to know.

I've encoutered some crash when playing hitman absolution but it usually happen when loading, whether when loading a level or loading the main menu .

So far i only have one crash  which happen during gameplay,  when i get into a QTE with an enemy the game just suddenly stop responding, but after i close the game reload it again and try the QTE move again, no crash happen.

For Farcry 3, i never have any problem with the game, i have reached the second island on the single player and never have any crash.

I see that you have a HD 6800 card, and since i have HD 6870 and i don't have that kind of problem for farcry 3 and absolution maybe it's just like what eyedee said, maybe it's the driver or something.

But it will be more helpful if you can give more info on your PC just like what black zion said.
