Hello everyone!

I am working a lot on the computer, which is why I bought 3 screens a couple of month back. Everything was working fine, until my dongle (hdmi do mini displayport) was destroyed.

Now I bought the XFX MiniDP Connection Kit ( it is ATI Eyefinity, Multi-Display validated), but I can only get 2 screens to work at the same time. All are working, but not at the same time.

I tried a Linux Live CD and voilá, all screens are working perfectly. Without any drivers...

First thing I did: reinstall windows. But it didn't work, I can still only use 2 screens.

This is my graphics card:

And this my CCC version:

If anyone has any idea, I would be glad to hear it =)

Thank you very much, appreciate that you read the post

Dustin

What Hardwood is asking is if the adapter you bought is ACTIVE or PASSIVE. If it is passive then you cannot use it for a third monitor.

Yeah it is active

Like I said, it works fine under linux without any driver...

And I can even choose each of my screens in ccc, but if I want to activate one that is currently offline, I have to deactivate one of my other 2 screens, that's what CCC tells me

Good news: I just found the problem and thus solved my problem =)

Thank you guys for helping me, appreciate it!

And here is what I did:

My graphics card has 4 ports:

HDMI

DVI

2xMini-DisplayPort

I connected my 3 screens to HDMI, DVI and 1xMiniDP, used the adapter to go from DVI to MiniDP.

On the AMD eyefinity guide it says: An active DisplayPort adapter can also be used to connect to a DVI panel instead of DisplayPort.

Now I am using HDMI and 2xMiniDP, with HDMI to MiniDP and DVI to MiniDP and it works.

My guess is that the DVI port isn't supported in an eyefinity setup...

Hope somebody else can use this =)

Thanks again everyone for your help!

Bye bye
