Hello, I've been having an issue with Skyrim not having any shadows at all even though they are set to ultra. They can appear sometimes for about a second, but then they're gone again, and I don't even have to move the camera before they do. The game is fully updated and there are no problems with the shadows when they appear, only that they disappear.

I've noticed the shadows doing weird things, like flickering and turning into a barred pattern, when on certain textures.  I'll see if I notice them disappearing entirely next time I play.  I suspect it's a game engine glitch.

Pretty well the same stuff as Thanny here. Never seen a shadow disappear.

Do you have any mods installed or the high res pack?

Yes, I have the HD Texture Pack and and quite a few mods, including the two HighResTexturePack fixes, and only two lighting ones and I don't think anybody has ever complained about them - Climates of Tamriel and Enhanced Lighting and Effects (only touches the interiors, which may be why I have any shadows in there at all). None of my other mods should even touch shadows.

I do have an ENB as well - 12.12.12 with The Wilds 3.0 preset. I have followed the instuctions for everything, including with the .ini files' adjustments.

That video is also the only time I have ever found someone else with this issue.

I posted this issue up on the Skyrim Nexus forums in both mod troubleshooting and technical support, but nobody has replied to them apart from one person saying that if I had a nVidia card, to roll back to driver 306. I'll bump the posts as they are quite far back now, though.

I guess I should try a new game without any mods so that I can see if they are fixed.
