have this problem when i,m watching a movie in hd on netflix: the pc just crashes, and i get this loud static like noise from the speakers. i have to force the pc off.  it also crashes at other times, but no where near as often.

fresh install of wind 7 64 bit.

PC Hardware:
hd6850
amd x4 965 be
asus m4a79t delux
16gigs of mushkin ram ddr3 at 1333mhz
640gig wd 64meg cache black edition hard drive.

Troubleshooting:
ran memtst86 for 3 days no problem. 
ran spinrite for 3 days no problem. 
changed the motherboard with a gigabyte one same thing.
changed the psu same thing.
catalyst reports a bad driver.
tried installing different versions still no joy.
called netflix thought it might something on there end they say no problems there.
also put in a hd7750 that i had kicking around and had the same problem.

hope someone can help.  i own nothing but amd video cards never had problems like this before.

The "Block-O-Text" that you had was very difficult to read through.  I have cleaned it up for you.  Added some spacing, and broke-up the main parts to make them stand out.

Hopefully your fellow forum members will be more interested in reading through your issue now.
