Project Cars needs some lovve from the AMD driver team.  As an Alpha tester for the game, I am having problems with the frame rate currently exhibited by my Sapphire 7950.  I'm at less than 30 fps in dry weather and less than 15 fps in rain when those weather conditions are turned on in the game.  The AA settings don't seem to work making the game look noticeable worse on AMD hardware.  Also there seems to be an issue with AMD drivers supporting "Driver Command Lists" that allow the game to be more multithreaded.  Running 13.2 Beta's from the AMD website.

Since the game is gearing up for a 2013 release, I believe that it would be in AMD's best interest to work with their development team more to ensure that the game runs just as well on the AMD hardware as the Nvidia hardware.  I realize fully well that the game is in Alpha, but it's very hard to give the development team feedback when your best case testing scenario is 30 fps without AA.  I'm running a FX-8120 so I really want my AMD hardware to shine in this game as it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Um, the release date is NOVEMBER 2013, that's NINE MONTHS away, apparently with a new engine to boot. Not much AMD, nor nVidia, can do.

That's why the developer should contact them, not the other way around.

Well since it's in development I really just wanted to bring some attention to the title as it's really great even in it's alpha state.  What I was simply saying was that it would be really nice if AMD's driver team took a glance at the current alpha builds and do some additions to their drivers for it.  Just a few more fps would allow me and other testers to properly test the title and help spot bugs so that the title will be the best it can be on AMD hardware.

I've read that AMD does work with the developer Simply Mad Studios.  But like I was saying the current AMD 13.2 drivers need a few more optimizations at this point.  I am amazed by the recent additions to the title that push our hardware to the limit.  That's why I made this thread to ask AMD to at least consider looking at multithreading on the GPU that seem to be a drivers only tweak, and the new environmental additions that SMS has added to the game.

My only agenda in this post is to be able to test the game properly and give meaningful feedback to the development team.  Maybe this is miscontrued as something else.  If so I apologize.  Last post as I'm off to give more feedback.

AMD has serious problems with this chapter Poject CARS.
Many cardholders AMD complain about the net difference against nVIDIA, and they want to change the paper ....
AMD currently loses about 30-35 FPS against nVIDIA
AMD please let you get out as soon as possible a driver that supports Project CARS

Yeah.... I am getting 35fps with my 290x lightning with the 14.4 drivers.

With my 680gtx i had 60+fps.  Embarrassing to be honest

considering that the game us due for release in october 2014, i think there is some time left, but it is time to start optimizing
