While the default values in the Catalyst Control Center are fine, I like to push my system to get the most out of my hardware. I've found a few tweaks Online for a few games I like, but not all; and I've read conflicting advice in the few articles I found.

I'm looking for the optimal CCC settings for:

DOOM 3 & Denton's Enhanced DOOM3 (I've read conflicting articles)

Deus Ex & Human Revolution (nothing)

Rome: Total War (nothing)

Mass Effect 2 (I've read conflicting articles)

XCOM Enemy Unknown (nothing)

RAGE (I've read conflicting articles)

I want to know when and why I should override application settings for Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering, more information about Catalyst A.I., and more information about Tesselation; and any other information you wish to share.

Here's two:

Use application tesselation

Uncheck 'surface format optimization'

If you set the AA in-game...then use 'enhance application settings' in CCC

I'm using CCC 13.1, and it doesn't have an 'enhance application settings' mode for AA.

You don't have this option?
