How is this AMD's fault that Nvidias get higher fps? You need to blame the developer.

Then that isn't AMD's fault there must be some other problem in your system. Start by.. specifying all your system specs.

Game runs poorly on amd hardware and amd refuses to optimize it. I have a 7970 ghz edition with i7 3770k and 8 gb of 2400mhz ram. My power supply is cooler master 1200

my gtx 680 maintains a steady 60 while the amd struggles to hold 40 fps.

This is completely unacceptable.

Again, as Vantharas and Zipsi said, the game runs very fast on less powerful video hardware so it is not the card's issue. Maybe you have some background crap interfering or you have Windows XP, create a second partition and install a fresh copy of Windows to test with.
