I bought this graphics together with computer but they seem to have a problem with overheating. namely, when I run a demanding application the temperature jumps up to 90 degrees, whereas in idle goes from 40 to 50c is this normal or not?

graphics is almost a year old

and i have in computer

Phenom x4 3.0Ghz

ram 8gb dd3

550w powersuply(dont know who made it )

win 7 64bit

Yes that is high. manually turn your fans to 60% or more or use a third party program to do it. See what the temp is then, and increase fans as needed.

Could also be a dust buildup problem as well.
