For some reason the entire top half of a cutscene is cut off and black. I have no idea what could have caused it. Regular game play and any other video I watch/play work perfectly. I noticed this issues a couple of weeks ago when I hit the "watch cutscene" for a game I was trying out. I had watched this very same cutscene in the past just fine. I recently have played another game to find the same issue. In game cutscenes are being cut off.

AMD Radeon HD7970

current driver 12.104.0.0

have reverted to the base driver and installed a recent beta driver but nothing seems to work.

I am using a duel moniter setup. When the issue started I tried reverting back to a single moniter to solve the problem. I also tried different ports to see if that would fix it.

I had the same problem, though only on 1 game: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. After googling the problem, I found this Webpage, and uninstalling that update resolved the issue. I hope it works for you.

Google is your friend: trust in it and rely on it.
