You need to fuss/squeal where it will do some good. Use the issue report form on the driver download page. That is how you bring this to the attention of AMD catalyst crew. Keep in mind that the issue must be reported by more than one person and it must be reproducible. Meanwhile the rest of us are enjoying the game...with no issues.

Typical fanboy mentality: If I don't have any issues then no one has.

51 pages long. Looks like a lot of people to me.

Not to mention the dozens of topics at Battlelog.

But by all means, keep acting like an arrogant ***** laughing at other people's misfortunes.

Yea, you are enjoying the game... you have windows 8.1? According to signature, no... so be reasonable and do not judge everything according to yourself

P.S. You do think i did not contact AMD with report form? of course i did, at least 2 weeks ago...

EA and Dice can't seem to see a problem although there is a long thread going on the EA support forums.

This doesn't make sense. I have a regular HD 6970 card...and Intel processor. I play all day long with no issues at all. 60fps all day long in any map with any number of players on a 1920x1200 monitor. Why is that? Could it be your settings? Or my settings? Oh...I forgot...I use vert sync...do you? Or is it that you are using Windows ate and I use Windows 7?

Edit; If you have crossfire..then forget it. Why wasn't this post moved to the crossfire forum?

I managed to play 2 full map rotations 100 tkts each except for the prison map without the memory leak. I had to use the 32 bit exe with win 8 compatibility mode ran as admin. The same settings do not work for me with the 64bit exe. I don't use crossfire or vsync.  In game settings all medium or low . Currently using the latest beta driver.

I'm having this as well

memory leak

Randomly the above just happens and the system grinds to a hault until it's rebooted. Some feedback and solutions on this would be nice.

I've had this issue since Battlefield 3 and Windows 7, then Windows 8, and then Windows 8.1

After that Windows 8.1 on BF4.

Using 16GB of RAM and a Radeon 6870 card. Get to 99% memory usage and it's BF3 and BF4.

Been running BF3 since launch and it didn't always have this problem. Somewhere along the lines a combination of BF code and AMD driver code made this leak happen.

Have tried every combination of AMD drivers and OS possible and none of them work. Spent countless hours combing forums and tickets for help but nothing.

I have worked in IT industry for over 15 years and consider this to be abysmal support for this issue, which has been ongoing for well over a year now.

According to most forums, everyone has worked in the IT business.

Odd that after playing BF3(since release and 1900hrs)and now BF4 with several clans,no one I know has this issue.

I updated to beta drivers to fix BF4 from crashing with a red screen.

Now with the new drivers I have as much of an issue with the Memory leak...I have a pretty good hunch is AMD's issue and not BF4

Please Fix.

Maybe you missed the forum post that is 55 PAGES LONG with people having the problem genius.

Also notice this problem even occurs in Play 4 Free. A 5 second search would have revealed that.

Secondly, the people working in IT are probably the biggest complainers because they would be fired in their jobs if they left a problem lingering this long.

Third, your post is abolutley useless.

So explain Mr IT specialist then why all the people i know that play these games dont have these issues? And I'm not talking a few.....

Not everyone is having these issues,so obviously the drivers work fine for a lot of others.

I'm not saying there isn't an issue,I just find it odd that some do and some don't with the same drivers.

Some people just dont think!

I'm at a lose as well. Nobody I know has any issue at all with this game. Maybe it is the in-game settings and CCC settings. Here are the settings I use.

I tried that as well... initially I thought it helped as I seemed to be able to play longer but very shortly after I got a new SSD and reinstalled Windows and applied this fix again but the leak still happens.

It seems to be very common witht he 5xxx and 6xxx series cards from AMD and it only appears to happen with Windows 8/8.1. I've read that some users have resolved the issue by forcing the game to run in compatability mode for Windows 7. If it does what I think it does that means it will force the game to use a lower version of directx so that may explain the issue/fix.

In that thread you linked if you read the comments many users have actually switched to Nvidia cards and the problem is completely gone. It may not be an AMD driver issue but its clearly affecting their cards so at the very least I hope they work with DICE/EA to resolve it
