Hello

First of all, Sorry about the (possible) bad english.

I had bought a computer in the beginning of the year, all amd-based.

Since then, i had experienced many, MANY problems.

Actually, while i'm playing league of legends, it freezes with the screen showing a black/brown vertical-stripped lines.

I had tryed the last stable and beta catalyst versions and drivers without success.

My configuration is:

-- SO : Windows 7 64bits SP1 (With all the auto-updates)

-- Processor: AMD Vishera FX 8350 4.0GHz

-- Video: Sapphire Radeon HD7870 XFX 2GB - FX-787A-CDFC

-- RAM Memory: 16 GB Patriot intel extreme masters (2x8gb)

-- Mobo: ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+

-- HD: HD Seagate 1000GB (1TB) SATA 3 7200 RPM 6Gb/s - ST31000524AS

-- Power Supply: Corsair 600W CX Builder Series ATX12V v2.3 Series CMPSU-600CXV2

-- Additional HW:

3x Aerocool Shark White Edition

- NZXT FAN SENTRY 2

- DRIVE SONY GRAVADOR DVDRW

-- Issue:

When playing LoL, suddently the screen turns into a brown/black vertical-stripped screen, everything stops working and the pc freezes.

To reproduce the problem, i need to play LoL (frequently more than one match).

This had happened before with other games but with LoL happens quite more often (2~3 times / 4 hours).

-- Game Configuration:

It's all on best quality, VSync activates, anti-aliasing, etc....

-- Catalyst and Drivers:

Actualy - Driver Version 9.14.10.01001, Catalyst 13.11

Before - Driver Version 9.14.10.0984, Catalyst 13.9

-- Display devices

I don't know the model of the monitor (it's from japan....) connected with VDI output.

Can someone help me with this issue? (It's not the temperature, i already checked it)

I'm very dissapointed with the amd products since my computer had taken about 2 months to solve the hw issues (processor problem) and now it's presenting problems again.

I'll post a picture of the stripped screen when i get that again.

Thanks.

Hi WMudrockJr,

The mobo Bios was up to date a while ago....

I'll see if there's another update into the ASUS website.

Thanks for your attention.

The lastest Beta 13.11 V9.2 has some fixes for DX 9 crashes. Try it out to see if it fixes you issues.

It's the version that i have installed.

I had changed the display and actually i haven't experiencing the problem anymore....

I will keep testing and if the problem is solved i post the "solution", which is very awkward, here.

If the monitor was the problem all the time, it's supposed to CRASH the pc like that?

I always had a view that the monitor and the Graphics card were supposed to work independently.

Please run the following software it will completely remove your Display Driver software and registery from your system. After that please re-install the latest beta and see how that is.

Use V9.4 of the software, and good luck, cross your fingers.

Hi WMudrockJr

I tried to that, and also had did a complete clean inside the pc...

The problem isn't solved yet...

I'ill wait for the college's semester ends and take the computer to the technical support for a diagnostic...

Thanks a lot for your attention.

Hi

Just for an update, i had sent the computer to the technical support.

They doesn't had found NOTHING WRONG with the hardware itself.

My actual solution is: Quit playing LoL.

If anyone have any suggestion, i'll be very thankful.
