Hi everyone, I'm posting this topic because a lot of people get this error playing Call of Duty : Ghost.

Indeed, when we play on Call of Duty : Ghost, just after 5 or 10 min and even less, the game crash with a black screen and we get this message :

"Direct3DDevice:: Presents failed (device removed) : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (-2005270523)"

A lot of people get this crash and we are talking about it on a lot of forums.

We think that it's a driver issues or maybe of the game.

I hope AMD is on it because it's really boring!

Operating System : Windows 8 64-bit full updated

Issue Details : "Direct3DDevice:: Presents failed (device removed) : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (-2005270523)"

Graphics card : ATI Radeon 6870 HD

Game : Call of Duty : Ghost

CPU Details : AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition

Memory : 10 Go DDR3

Drivers : FULL UPDATED (Amd Catalyst 13.11 bêta), I even tried in 13.4 but still the same issue in the game.

AMD PLEASE HELP US !

Did you send in a "issue report" using the issue report form? Look on the driver download page for the form.

Using Google, I find this post in the Steam forum HERE . You neglected to say that this issue is present with both AMD and Nvidia cards. Read the article and try it's fix...but this doesn't seem to be a AMD issue.
