Hi all.

So I have recently bought a new system and am having quite a frustrating issue. I am finding fullscreen gaming has a lowered framerate and in some cases catastrophically lowered. Bioshock Infinite for example is unplayable, and even navigating the menu is very difficult, this is at a resolution of 1920x1080. Once I change the resolution down to 1024x600, while still on ULTRA settings, it becomes playable and the mouse is able to navigate the menu.

I have searched high and low for a solution while not being able to find one. It is not the Win8.1 mouse lag issue as I have recieved that update. My video card drivers are the newest. I am running two monitors, my main: A Samsung S27B370 which is connected with an HDMI cable, my other is: Asus VW198 with a traditional connection.

My processor is: AMD A8-6600K APU 3.9GHz with 8gb Ram and dedicated HD8570 graphics.

Any advice would be immensly appreciated, thankyou.

Just googled your card, its OEM,low end.

I would lower your settings from ultra to maybe low to med and see what its like.

Agreed, that setup is not made for heavy gaming. For 1920x1080 at ultra details you should be using at least an R9 270. But considering that is an OEM machine (HP, Dell, etc) it will take a power supply upgrade as well.
