Pretty much what the topic says, I updated to 13.12 from 12.10 and my game hangs, only seems to be happening to World of Warcraft and only happens maybe once every other day. Anyone else having this issue, know how to fix it, or know of a stable driver that will run it without conflict?

Hello. I have same kind of problem on HD5870:

When playing normally, the card usage is normally at 50-60% and FPS around 60

When playing on instance, the usage is at around 20 % and FPS around 20

But at boss fights in instances the usage drops to 0 and FPS to 2-10.

Its quite unplayable

If you only play WoW, why did you update drivers in the first place?

Try the 13.4 package. It seems to work better with the 5000 series cards.

I contacted to blizzard support and they told to try differend things and none of em did work. So eventually they said that the card might be too old.

Can HD 5870 be outdated to wow?

So what can cause in graphic card to go 0% activity for being too heavy to handle? Is it running out of memory or what? I tried to lower quality settings but didn't have any major difference in FPS.

I also tried to overclock my card but when I added even a bit more clock to it, I started to see gliching on my screens. Might there be something physically wrong at my card?

Can motherboard affect graphic card performance like that?

Sorry for I'm not so familiar with this things but thank you for all replies. I hope to get this solved soon.

Use the drop-down to show all versions...not just the current version.
