I thought I'd post here to see if there was any help that you folks could provide me with considering I'm running a computer with a AMD card.

For whatever reason DxDiag doesn't seem to recognize either my graphics card nor a few other things, so it is a pain in the ass to actually find help with this issue.

Mass Effect 2 will not run; at all. No crash messages, it just won't boot. Should I attribute this to EA's absolutely god-awful Origin, or is this actually a problem with my installation; with the DxDiag issues being a symptom?

Don't know, the STICKY thread expressly says NOT to post DxDiag, but to provide the information requested.

Bleh. Shows how freaking tired I am; I'll update it to actually be correct.

Do you have PhysX installed? Preferrably the one that was offered during the game install?

The system specifications that are being requested are like those in the signatures of black-zion and zipsi - You have really only given a cut down dxdiag which shows only your graphics processor specs.

+1 PhysX.  While AMD cards don't do PhysX, it still needs to be installed to make some games happy, and some aren't happy with newer versions either (that would be too easy....)

btw - The program below creates a good system spec report which includes current temps. Upload the report to a place such as Skydrive and make it public for downloading.

Speccy - Standard
