so it seems somehow my drivers got updated to the latest version automatically and that is when I started experiencing problems.

Currently have a 7970 running at 1440p and had no fps issues in any games until the update happend. After that had constant driver crashing when playing FF14 and some other games.

So I did a full uninstall of the latest drivers and rebooted, then installed the newest beta drivers and my FPS problems are just as bad but I have no driver crashing.

Haven't changed any of my settings, is this just a crappy driver rev? or any suggestions on what I should do next.

Thanks

amd drivers are latest beta drivers catalyst 14.2 driver package 13.35

was using 13.10 at the time when everything worked best and then I believe the amd raptr client auto updated my drivers and I started having issues. Did a full uninstall using amd instruction via program features and rebooted and then installed latest beta drivers and rebooted.

no longer having driver crashing problems but horrible fps and afterburner shows my video card maxed at 99% when FF14 is running and only 1gb vram being used.
