just installed titanfall, right off the bat, getting glitches, tearing and flickering, also program hangs while changing video options in game. i set all settings to low, AA off, vsync off. now can play for about 5 minutes before problems set in. GPU looks at about 74C when it starts to happen, but the fan doesnt ramp up on auto.

i have

Alienware R3

bios version A06

windows 7 64bit service pack 1

i7-2600k

16 gigs DDR3 ram

catalyst driver 13.12

OEM ATI HD6990 video card

Id hate to say it but the problem is that you have an alienware computer, those are junk and have more problems than any other gaming PC out there and plus its made by dell. id say your GPU is shot dude, thats an issue when the GPU overheats and basically destroys itself

Do you use any software to monitor your GPU usage and temp?

If , no, then you definately should.

I highly reccomend you instll MSI Afterburner, and in settings set the FAN profile to manual curve, so that when GPU hits certain temp - > fan temp will get up to 100%.

This allows me to keep my GPU R9 280X temp under 65C in most games.
