My original build was an 8350 paired with 2 7950s 8gb of 1600mhz RAM. I couldn't run BF4 on ultra or high with constant 60fps. I swapped out the CPU for a 4770k and i was so surprised at the sudden leap in FPS during gaming. It went from 30-60fps to 80-100 fps after swapping to INTEL.

So i kept my two cards cause i thought they werent too bad at all. But newer games are starting to come out and my 150 dollar GTX650 in my other pc can out perform a single 7950 on Elder Scrolls Online. My 7950 specs are as follows; GPU CLOCK 1150 MHZ and MEM CLOCK 1450. The stock clocks are GPU CLOCK 1000 (OC EDITION) and MEM CLOCK 1250 (if i remember correctly) I've got the lastest BETA drivers running.

Something thats really pissing me off is the lack of driver updates from AMD. I already regret buying the 8350, i'm starting to feel like i regret buying the GPUs too. I don't know if AMD mods or admins actually read these forums or not. But if for some lucky reason you are, you guys needa get back on track with patches like the old days.

Anyway, whats everyones opinon on my cards and the O/C speeds? And why can my GTX650 pull better FPS then my single 7950? I've also swapped the cards to see if one was playing up or not. Both have the same performance running in single card.

Seeing as you said you were running 2 x 7950,you must have a 850+psu(so that rules out underpowered).

As for your o/c,what brand/model(o/c max varies from card/maker).

Flip the bios switch/increase voltage?

Hi what new motherboard did you get as we all know you can not swap a  AMD cpu with a I-4770k. Also that FX 8350 over clocked will beat a I-4770k. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4770K-vs-AMD-FX-8350. Either way the difference in the 2 is not a massive gain.

Did you actually read the report you linked to, the only thing it beats the Intel chip on is value.

Sorry late reply. Well on 3dgurus power recommendation it's 700W for 2 7950s. I have a 750 PSU though. I don't think its underpowered? As for the motherboard i switched it over for an MSI Z87 G45. Well i pushed the 8350 to 4.5GHZ and i saw barely any difference gaming. I saw instant FPS gains by just switching the CPU/MOBO.

^ probably a better CPU to compare it with?
