Currently this game runs my HD7850 kinda hot, CPU is fine.

But I was mainly curious to see if the folks at AMD are working with them to optimize the game better, most of my friends play the game using AMD specs and were sort of peeved about the NVIDIA optimization.

Is it possible? Or is it in the works?

Something really has to be done with this game. I run a R9 290x and am only getting 55 frames on ultra with shadows on med. I know it is still in closed beta, but I had a gtx 970 and was getting 90-100 fps with the game maxed out and heavy AA. I had to return the card unfortunately because there was a driver issue with something in my PC that made it crash and Nvidia had no idea how to fix it.. The game will go into open beta in March, is this how AMD wants the game to run? Please do something. If you go to the Landmark forums you will see all the complaints. I don't know why more do not come here to complain.

Well Everquest have always been nVidia 'The Way It's Meant To Be Played'-titles, which explains why it is working better on nVidia hardware, since they work closely to optimise pretty much everything for their stuff.

Secondly: I don't know if you noticed, but in a few weeks time several AAA-titles were released all with more or less issues with PC graphics optimisations (for both AMD and nVidia), so I guess getting those fixed out as soon as possible takes priority over an nVidia-sponsored title which isn't officially released yet.

However you can fill out the issue report on here, and hope they take it in account:

Coolermaster HAF-X, Seasonic P-1200 Platinum, Asus X99-A, Intel i7 5960K @4.5GHz, Corsair Hydro Series H110, 4x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws 4 Black, MSI Radeon R9 290X Gaming 4G, Sapphire Radeon R9 290X, Corsair Force LS 240GB SSD, Seagate Desktop 4TB SSHD, Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB, Creative Soundblaster ZX, Windows 8.1 64bit.
