I updated to the latest driver 14.4 for my HD 7900 and discovered over the last feww weeks of using it I get continuos crashes in 3 online games I play, world of warcraft, diablo and world of tanks.I went back to the older version 13.12 and so far all is running well.Is this a known problem ? and if so will there be a fix coming soon as I like to keep all my drivers up to date. Thanks for your time.

You probably didn't install the drivers correctly. The read me says uninstall previous drivers before attempting to install the latest drivers.

Thanks for that but I remove and clean all my old driver updates before installing any new ones.

Drivers don't always need to be updated, particularly with 'older' games. "If it ain't broke..."

Having said that - the current WHQL drivers should not cause problems, but if you check the release notes for newer drivers I doubt you will find any optimisations for the games you mention going back quite a few driver releases.
