My 6970 plays it well...but I don't expect much from any Ubisoft PC game.

Performance update

Catalyst 14.6 will also provide performance boost to Watch Dogs, Thief and Murdered Soul Suspect (which is not yet released). You should expect 25-28% better performance in Watch Dogs with the new drivers. Catalyst 14.6 also has new CrossFire profiles specificly for WD. AMD claims it will provide up to 99% scaling to Watch Dogs.

Yeah truly hope they fix the CF problem, because I too have 6990 and the game crashes everytime after ubi logo. Disabling CF doesn't work either. So AMD hurry up, I would like to play

Wait for this time next year when both the drivers are mature and Ubisoft has hopefully fixed all the bugs in release, and see if there's actually a significant difference between the camps.

Dunno if this helps, I've managed to start the game on 6970, just had to disable ALL kind of in-game overlay....

But yeah, crappy performance, hopefully the new drivers fix this problem.

You must have something else causing the issue...that is not my experience playing this game/abortion.

So I just installed the 14.6 beta drivers, and my Watch Dogs still crashes at autosave info screen. I have been unable play the at all. I'm just wondering is AMD working with ubi to solve these problems?

I'm not blaming AMD at all since ubi is what it is, a bad publishing company. Not to mention that I haven't had any major compability problems with any other release this year. I just need to have comformation if the problem is being worked on.

I believe a future patch(es) from ubisoft will adress compatibility and optimization issues with dual-gpu cards and amd cards in general (and nvidia for that matter).

I've been searching on the internet for hours for any "fixes" to no avail, because my game crashes too on loading and logs point to Disrupt_b64.dll. In other words, my hd6990 is not "the way it's meant to be played"...

So, with a grin smile, we should all contact ubi support and be their post-QA testers. In the meanwhile, take a look at these threads:
