Hey people,

i have a huge problem with the amd/ati drivers. When im playing minecraft, i crash almost every hour.

I tried everything, reinstalled java at least 10 times, same with minecraft and with the driver.

I used to have Version 13.4, i did an update to 14.4 but it didnt helped. Now im using the 14.6 Beta Version but i get the crash again.

I also did send an "AMD Issue Reporting Form" but no answer.

The crashreport is here: http://pastebin.com/ynmzcaBu

I hope that anybody have a solution for this issue.

Have you looked at this thread ?:

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/946012-amd-radeon-crashes-on-minecraft/

Make sure you have the latest updates for java, system, gpu drivers.

Please take a look at the sticky threads as well so that you can give as much feedback as you can.

Thanks.

I have the newest java update and the rest of my system is also up-to-date. I read the sticky post and thought that "Driver Fusion" is the same as "Driver Cleaner" which i used. For now i have no graphic driver, the dxdiag log said the same, no driver installed.

So i guess driver fusion is not the same. I will now install CCC 14.4 and see if this will happen again.

You can also try Display Driver Uninstaller to clean install drivers.

Try the 14.6 beta as well.

Driver Fusion is the continuation of driver sweeper.

Note that only the paid version completely removes all registry entries that are left behind.

Aaaand it happend again.

The report this time: http://pastebin.com/Fmp0QY0X

This is getting really annoying, then obviously its an AMD error. I will now try and delete it again, try display driver uninstaller and install the beta version.

I've already seen more than 20 topics on the internet and the list goes on.

I am now glad i haven't touched that game. Too many bugs.

But, i'm now curious.

Maybe i'll test it.

There is a threads that suggests to disable UAC, but, for safety reasons, i wouldn't recommend it.

You can try it.

By the way, as stumped rightly suggests, please let us know of your specs.

I am assuming you have the juice to properly run this game, right ?

This card requires a 500watt PS at minimum. Plus there are two built in power savers in the card that probably need to be disabled for gaming.

Nice ! I have one installed myself.

Make sure you have administration priviliges and that your firewall doesn't interfere with the game's servers.

You can try the 64bit java, as well.

Please make sure it's not a corrupted Java installation issue.

The Card runs fine and i had NEVER any issues. This only happen on 1 Server. Everything else is just fine. I can play any other game without any crashes.

Yes, the Twinturbo is awesome, so much better then the HIS version. I already have 64bit java and full administrator priviliges. Firewall should be fine, i can play on any other server just fine.

Nah, its cool.

Its just very annoying, because that happen more or less from one day to the other and i have no clue why.

I used now Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode and installed again the beta driver.

I understand your frustration mate.

Are the crash logs point to amd drivers only, or is there a chance that PSU that stumped pointed cannot deliver enough power to your gpu (or other pc components as well) ?

You may have system stability issues.

You can use a user-friendly program like whocrashed to analyze crash logs.

Please post some more details.

Thanks.
