Hi!

I have recommended a friend of mine to aquire an A8 3870k processor.

So far I am very impressed about it's performance.

I wanted to know if I should config in the bios setup the amount of shared memory with the GPU or if this is handled automatically.

I could not find any feature to do this in the bios yet.

Any other recommendations about configuration to drain the maximun processor performance are also welcome.

The 3870K is a beast, rivaling Phenom II core-for-core. There should be no need to force a non-stock configuration in the BIOS.

It has been said that the CPU portion can, at times, hold back the IGP so the only thing I could recommend would be a small overclock w/ a minor voltage bump.

What do you mean by "drain the maximum processor performance"?
