The 3870K is a beast, rivaling Phenom II core-for-core. There should be no need to force a non-stock configuration in the BIOS.
It has been said that the CPU portion can, at times, hold back the IGP so the only thing I could recommend would be a small overclock w/ a minor voltage bump.
What do you mean by "drain the maximum processor performance"?
