I have an asus kgpe-d16 motherboard (dual socket g34)
Currently I am running 1 processor in it. (OS6172WKTCEGOWOF)

Would I be able to pair my OS6172WKTCEGOWOF with a OS6172WKTCEGO?

They are both 6172's however I notice the 2 different (or extended) model no.'s

please advise

ok... wow i feel dumb...

took a few hours but aperently WOF is the box part number while the rest of it is the actual part number.

 

... so yeah does 1=1 ... yes. it will match. ty all
