ok i have installed new mobo asus m5a97 evo, and put an amd phenom II x6 1090T processor, old video cards nvidia 9800 gt 1gb ram. anyway i recently zeroed out my hard drive and did a clean install of win7, new drivers, programs, the whole thing, and now my system seems to be hanging every few seconds and generally running sluggish, does anyone know how i can find out what the bottle neck is or some way to figure out how to find the problem?

Sounds like overheating. You borked something up in your installation, likely your CPU cooler mounting or thermal paste. It could be other things, but I'd take a look at that first.

Hyzzle, you haven't given us much to work with.

You didn't mention your full specs. on this Platform  (Memory, Power Supply, ect...)

On the Proccessor Forum others had a similar problem, that turned out to be a lack of Voltage to the NB/HT Link. You will more than likely need to Hard-set your BIOS Profiles.
