I am constantly BSOD'ing. Here is the stop errror:

A Clock Interupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval.

Stop:0x00000101 (0x0000000000000019, 0x00000000000000000, 0xfffff88003117180, 0x0000000000000006)

Happens when encoding video using handbrake, watching video, using photoshop, and randomly. Tried other video cards and swapped out ram completly. All lasted drivers and bios as of 10/23/2012. Played with voltages slightly, nothing remedies this.Same system functioned great with a phenom x6.

Downloaded and installed both patches. Running Prime95 stress test, and so far as I am typing we are holding steady where I used to bluescreen almost immediately. I will report back after an hour or so.

Have you tried the two optional patches from Microsoft that change how the scheduler is used on FX chips yet?

So I applied the patches, and all seemed well. Prime 95 test ran flawlessly.

But the next day, my wife opened 8 hi-res raw images in photoshop while watching netflix and boom, happend again.

The Motherboard's webpage show this chip as being compatible, and the phenom x6 ran fine. Msi is ready to accept an rma, but i am hesitant to rip out the board and send it in, as i suspect there is an issue either with the cpu, or bios options throwing off cpu, or being the last cpu on the list for compatibility for this board, maybe a bios issue alltogether?

My usb ports disable and re-enable right before this happens as if my chipset drivers are flaking out. Is this a cause of the issue, or a symptom of the cpu flaking out?

I bought a new motheroard and cpu.

However, after I patched Windows it happend less frequently on the old setup, and it seemed to be linked to nikon view nx and photoshop being open at the same time. Even with a newer and different model motherbaord and cpu, when cs6 and view nx are open, I have issues. So i chalked it up to a software bug, as all the stress tests completed fine. I haven't had time to dig into the software issues. You should post your cpu and motherboard models as someone else maybe able to help. I am not sure on all the forum rules here, but you may want to open a new thread espesially if it is a different cpu or motherboard. Good Luck.
