I know it is right up there is temp.  I used AMD overdrive and it hovers in the 60's to 71 C when taxed with gaming.

 

I have a new cooler being ordered in about two weeks.  Suspecting the CPU fan or case flow just isn't keeping up for some reason.  The temps were fine, but the last few months they seem to have increased.  

I have blown the dust out, but I haven't literaly cleaned each fan free of dust with a swab and alchol etc..  Should I do this?  Maybe the thermal paste needs replacing?

I figured I would throw a Thermaltake contac 30 on it (This is my wifes computer mine has the same specs but with a thermaltake she has stock fan, mine runs taxed at like 55C)

Will the proc be okay at such a high temp for a few weeks?

Could be the TIM, most TIMs will dry out after a year or so. That new cooler is basically the same as my old Xigmatek HDT-S1283. But I'll tell ya, you might want to go ahead and jump to the Corsair H60. It clips right to the stock AMx bracket, it's quiet, powerful, and if you factor in the cost of an aftermarket quality fan to attach to the ThermalTake you are getting (compared to the stock H60 fan and an existing stock 120mm fan for push-pull), cheaper as well (this H60 cost just over $60, whereas my Xigmatek HDT-S1283 + 2 fans I went through cost over $80)
