I'm trying to replace a non-functional Radeon HD 6750 from a Gateway FX6860-UR20P with a new card.  Problem:  I can't get the old card out.  I've disconnected the cords etc., and I think it's secured by one screw, but unfortunately the head of the screw is inside the case of the 6750, rather than outside, if that makes sense.  We have tried and tried to unscrew it, but we really can't even get a screwdriver in there, the working area is so tight.  I have removed two tiny screws on the upper side of the 6750 so I am able to pull the case back, but not far enough.  Does anyone have suggestions for this noob as far as hardware is concerned?  Is there a way to get the cover completely off while the card is still in the computer?  Thanks for any help you can give me.  If you need any more information, I'll be happy to provide it.

Take out 2 screws holding the left side panel on your pc case.

The card is held by 1 screw attached to the rear of the case.

There is a little bracket at the other end of the card on the motherboard that you must open.

Thanks very much for your help.  We finally figured out that the screw my husband told us was *the one* we had to unscrew, was not, in fact, the one.  Daughter figured out what we really needed to unscrew.  It works, and everything works fine.
